Training
Mountain bike training is organized in three different sectors:

Driver safety and biking technique are two major factors when it comes to adventurous yet safe mountain biking.
Via practical exercises and outdoor theory lessons, we try to impart our knowledge to you in an easily understandably way.

The sport-scientific training is based on a performance diagnostic test, according to which we will draw up your individual training schedule (aiming e.g. at improving your performance or strengthening the cardiovascular system, …)

Furthermore we provide temporary training at high altitudes in Gasteinertal (tours starting from 1000 m in altitude). Our partners at www.unterkunft-gastein.at offer accommodation in more than 1.500 m in altitude in a self-catering house. Frühstückspension Bacher (B&B) also provides tools and space to maintain your bikes.


Nutrition counselling and athletic advice – How do I conduct my training most efficiently?

Advice on how to reduce weight, diets for a lasting weight reduction, for a better performance in your job, in sports and everyday life, as well as for strengthening your immune system.

Athletic advice – exercise, sports and purposeful training!

A training schedule will guide you on building up stamina and muscles, reducing weight and restoring physical fitness after an illness or surgery. This unit involves 90 minutes of consulting as well as drawing up a rough training schedule.

Performance diagnostics und training schedule – the way to success!

Our partner, the thermal spa Alpentherme Gastein, is equipped with a state-of-the-art diagnostic centre in Gasteinertal. A performance diagnostic test informs you precisely about your current physical state and we will analyse your results and draw up an individual training schedule for you. This package includes a performance diagnostic test in the thermal spa Alpentherme Gastein, an exact training schedule for two weeks, a rough schedule for half a year and a 120-minute unit in which you will be advised on your training schedule and do a short tour with a heart rate monitor.

Personal Coaching – attaining the goal together!

The older one gets, the more physical performance starts its downward spiral. By taking the right countermeasures, you can lead an active life up to a ripe old age. What is important is the accurate execution of exercises, which your personal coach will work out with you. The bike will constitute your perfect training tool, as cycling goes easy on your joints and training can be conducted at a low heart rate.
